Bollywoods New Sexy Girl Shilpa Shukla in an English movie

Award-Winning Bollywood Actress Shilpa Shukla will play the lead role CHARU in an English Film 'Extrospection' . Producer/Director/ Writer Manan Singh Katohora ready with the release of his controversial Cross/Cultural lesbian film 'When Kiran Met Karen' will next produce and direct 'Extrospection' staring Shilpa Shukla, Jay Kalra, Tushar Unadkat and Tirlok Malik.

Furqan Qureshi, Shilpa's agent in Mumbai, shares "Shilpa is very excited about Extrospection, her first English Film." Award-Winning American and Canadian crew is attached to the project, which will be filmed in New York, Summer 2008. "This is Satyajit Ray's Charulata in 2008," says Manan, "What would Charu do in today's day and age, living and working in the New Urban Chic Corporate Culture of New York." The hunt is on for one of the main supporting characters 'Chandana', Charu's mom in the film.

Shilpa Shukla (as the egocentric Bindia) delivered a laudable performance in Chak De India (one of the biggest hits of the year 2007, Co-Starring Shahrukh Khan). Shilpa has also acted in award winning movies such as Khamosh Pani (International Title: Silent Waters; Winner of 15 International Awards) and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi.

So far this year, she has won 2 major awards1 and scored nomination in every Bollywood Award Function. June 8, 2008 she will be competing with Arjun Rampal, Kay Kay Menon, Vidya Balan and Viveik Oberoi for the 'Best Performance in a Negative Role' International Indian Film Academy (commonly known as the IIFA) Award.

Manan Singh Katohora is known for his Indian-American films FLAVORS and ARYA. 'ARYA' scored 3 nominations at 2005 South Asian Media Awards, and Shetal Shah took home the Best Actress Award2 for her jaw-dropping portrayal of the villianess Maya in the intriguing and innovative psychological thriller, 'Arya'.
